Glenncrest Homes For Sale in Washington DC

The new housing community of Glenncrest may serve as a successful real estate model in the District of Columbia. In many ways, the region has run counter to other parts of the country. While many states were at their real estate peak, DC neighborhoods were just beginning a slow but sustained move toward commercial and residential revitalization. The urban renewal efforts helped mitigate some of the effects of the subsequent sub-prime downturn that devastated states like Florida and California. While foreclosures and short sales still exist, DC is currently running ahead of many parts of the country with continued growth in real estate value and an influx of new residents. With this comes a tightening of supply however, and this is where new communities like Glenncrest come in.
