More About Claremont Homes For Sale

Claremont Homes For Sale in Arlington VAThe proximity to Barcroft Park and Four Mile Run assures that there is plenty of green space for Claremont residents to enjoy. The name of the famous stream and hiking path is often associated with distance but in fact, it's the result of a long ago deed typo. The original name was actually inspired by a nearby flour mill, not 'four miles'. Schools in the neighborhood include the popular Claremont Immersion School, a public magnet with 528 students in grades PK-5.

Commuting is a cinch in Claremont – major roadways like Leesburg Pike lead to I-66 to the north and I-395 to the south. The neighborhood is just seven miles from Washington DC and also convenient to the many major Arlington and Alexandria employers associated with government, intelligence and defense sectors. As for local retail and dining, there aren't a lot of options in the immediate neighborhood but there are quite a few right outside its bounds. Claremont is served by the Ballston Metro.
